Jemma Emerald M. Zafra

Jemma Emerald M. Zafra has a Bachelor’s Degree in Philippine Arts major in Arts Management from the University of the Philippines, Manila. She joined The Children’s Library in September 2007 and is responsible for administrative, fundraising, marketing and PR, program development and project management of the Children's Library. She started to develop the habit of reading early and her favourite book series include Nancy Drew and Sweet Valley. The Chronicles of Narnia books are her favorite fiction books while Kikomachine komiks are her favorite comics. A fan of Paulo Coelho, she loves his books namely The Alchemist, Veronika Decides to Die and Eleven Minutes.


Michelle Ann D. Chavez

Michelle is a graduate of University of St. La Salle - Bacolod with a Bachelor of Science degree major in Management Accounting. She joined TCL in November 2008 and handles its accounting responsibilities. Inspirational books about success, social and psychological human behavior, Christian and values as well as reading novels and epics intrigue this young lady’s mind. Michelle has a large bookshelf for her collection of books including those of Stephen King and complete set of Harry Potter series. Her favorite author is a Filipino named Bo Sanchez. She loves his books because of his tickling yet very inspiring articles and books about life, love and God.


Annaliza M. Quiño

Anna has a Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She passed the Board for Librarians examination in 2003. Her involvement with the Children's Library started in November 2000 when she became an on-the-job trainee and then formally joined the library in June 2001 as Librarian for TCL-Imus. Currently the Sr. Head Librarian of TCL-Imus, she is responsible in library operations, staffing, activities, and direction of the branch as well as providing assistance to the Project Development Assistant for major projects and initiatives. Anna's favorite books include Who Moved My Cheese?, Mitch Albom’s Tuesdays with Morrie and For One More Day, The Giving Tree, and other Filipino storybooks.


Freda Aisa A. Rodil

Aisa has a Bachelor Degree in Library and Information Science from the Centro Escolar University. Her involvement in the Children’s Library started in November 2006. She is responsible in managing the volunteers, and Officer in Charge in absence of the Head Librarian. Aisa’s favorite books include Chicken Soup series, Harry Potter and Da Vinci Code.


Bonn Gary Asenjo

Bonn is a graduate of Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Sta. Mesa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science. During his college years, he served as President of LISSO - Library and Information Science Students Organization in PUP. He joined The Children’s Library as a Librarian in September 2009. In 2010, he was later appointed as Officer – in – Charge Librarian. His responsibilities include ensuring smooth library operations, adequate staffing, implementing activities and general direction of TCL-Novaliches. During his free time, reads inspirational quotations and writes down entries on his journal. His favorite books include Sidney Sheldon's suspense novels, Danielle Steel's Five Days in Paris and the Harry Potter book series.


Jenna Yanie P. Nicolas

Jenna is a graduate of Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Sta. Mesa with a Bachelor’s Degree of Library and Information Science. She joined The Children’s Library in April 2010 and her responsibilities include enriching and the library collection and managing the Volunteer staff. During her free time, she reads quotations and poems. Her favorite book is The Gifts of Love by Helen Rice. She also enjoys playing sports such as volleyball and badminton.


Rodrigo M. Hebres Jr.

Rod took up his Diploma in Computer Technology from Rizal Technological University-Mandaluyong City. He started as an on-the-job trainee at the Children's Library-Galleria and continued on as a volunteer in the year 2000. In 2001, he was hired as the Technical Librarian Aide of TCL- Imus. His responsibilities include assisting the Systems Administrator in maintaining and developing Library Software, networking system, document back-up and multi-media files, technical and mechanical aspects of the Children's Library operations and library resource materials processing. He also facilitates Storytelling and Puppet Show Workshops for the new volunteers. He is the first recipient of the Chairman's Award for Outstanding Employee in 2001. He enjoys storytelling, conducting puppet shows, face painting, reading and art and crafts. His favorite books include Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven and Jonathan Kellerman's The Clinic.


John Christopher Calma

John Christopher Calma is a Computer Technology graduate of Datamex Institute of Computer Technology. He started as a Volunteer staff in 2008 and joined the The Children’s Library in January 2010. His responsibilities include managing the technical and mechanical facilities and operations of the library, networking, document back-up and multi-media files, library resource materials processing and software development. He also facilitates Storytelling and Puppet Show Workshops for the new volunteers. He spends his free time playing the skateboard, watching T.V, listening to music and reading. He is inspired by reading his favorite books such as The Canterbury tales by Joeffrey Chaucer and 1945 by George Owell.
