Why Volunteer?
Volunteerism has a positive effect on your community and yourself. This is a journey of caring: learn about the different service opportunities available and explore the many aspects of volunteerism. Helping others makes you feel good about yourself. Here at the Children's Library there's a lot of rewarding experiences, opportunities to utilize your talents, or provide trainings to help you serve your community.
Giving can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life.
Volunteering at the Children's Library
A dynamic team of dedicated volunteers currently provides the TCL staff with the support that enables the library to provide diverse services on a daily basis.
On-the-Job Trainees (OJT's) are being equipped with library service skills and given an opportunity to assist in conducting children's programs and provide assistance to children as they do research work.
Days and hours are flexible to meet individual availabilities and we welcome new volunteers throughout the year!
