Computer and Internet Use
Using the computers at the Children's Library can be a fun and exciting educational adventure. We have an extensive CD ROM library collection that is fully interactive for specific ages and grade levels. Internet access is also available. Services and use of equipment are free of charge. Here are some policies to be observed:
- A valid ID is required to use the computer and audio facilities. The following IDs are acceptable:
- Current school ID
- Passport
- Postal ID
- Driver's License
- PRC ID
- Company ID
- GSIS/SSS ID
- TIN ID
- Log in at the Service Desk and choose CD ROM at the desk or on the IPAC. Use of the computers are on a first come first served basis thru personal reservation at the service desk.
- Each patron is allowed to log in once a day during Weekends.
- Only the Children's Library software may be used. Use of personal software is strictly prohibited.
- Parents/Guardians are responsible for their child's use of the Internet.
- Visiting web sites with unpleasant contents such as violence, nudity, horror, etc is strictly prohibited. Internet access is primarily for research purposes.
- Patrons are responsible for all costs connected with wilful damage to and unauthorized removal of any computer components.
