but we are specifically geared to meet the needs of kids from ages 6 to 12 years old. We have books, comics, audio books, videos and CD-ROMs with facilities and equipment you can enjoy for in-house use for FREE!

Dear Parents,

Visiting the library can be most enriching and enjoyable experience for your kids - if all of us help our children cultivate good library manners. Here are good library habits you can share with your kids:

Speak softly or whisper. So that everyone can read in an atmosphere conducive to learning.

Proper care and handling of Books, Audio books, Videotapes, Audio players, Computers, and other library equipments

Keep the use of IPAC (Internet Public Access Catalog) under five minutes. Other users may need to use it.

Set cellular phones to silent mode. Please answer your calls outside the library.

Damage to Library Resource Materials
If any library material (book, audiotape, CD-ROM, etc.) has been damaged, please inform the Library Staff immediately. Parents or guardians are responsible for any damages done by their kid/s. You will be required to pay the purchase cost + P50 processing fee.

Damage to Library Furniture & Equipment
Please report damage immediately. Parents are required to cover the full replacement or repair costs of any of the furniture and equipments of the library.

The Children's Library is fortunate to have tremendous support of the community.

• Library Fundraising Program
  We need your help to improve our book collection and repair our most frequently used books. The library accepts any amount at hand to support the immediate needs of the library like:
  • P20.00 to buy plastic cover for 5 books
  • P50.00 to repair 20 slightly damaged books;
  • P100.00 to buy 2 story books.
  Amount of donation given to the library have corresponding token items that you may also collect. These donation tokens are displayed below.
  
  
  
• Donate to the Library
  If you are interested in donating books that you have enjoyed reading again and again or brand new books that you would like to share with others, just bring them in to The Children's Library and we will:
  • Label them with acknowledgement stickers thanking you for the donation. (Unless you prefer otherwise)
  • Process, catalog and add them to the library collection or…
  • Direct them to other worthy libraries in need of resources.
